Creating happy obligations, are you making it so that people want to even work with you, I mean, when people are happily obligated to work with you, or refer people to you, you can just like that's when massive expansion can happen. The best expansion in my life, in my opinion, comes through word of mouth, because typically, those are going to be the people that I'm going to enjoy working with the best and we're going to do the work there, they're actually going to implement the stuff. And when you're creating happy obligations in your business, you're basically what this means is, how can you make it so that people want to send people to you, they want to come back to you, ways that you can do this are aligning yourself with a nonprofit organization, that maybe you have a passion for, where you're giving 10% of your stuff to them, or you are just extremely over delivering for them. For my clients. That's what we like to do. We say, Hey, we're gonna charge you this much for this. And then we do all of that. And they're like, oh, by the way, we also ran some extra press releases, and we just smashed yourself for you as well under promise and over deliver. Exactly, and, and there's like, there's so many different ways that you can create happy obligations. One way is simply just by as we talked about, being yourself, sharing your story, sharing your story is one of the best ways that you can actually create happy obligations, because people buy from people they know, like, and trust people buy from people that they want to interact with. And by sharing your story, by being vulnerable, you are opening up and you're allowing people into your world. And now you're a human, you're not just someone trying to some you're not just a business owner, you're not just someone trying to do something you're actually a human that they can connect with. Is there any businesses that you currently like feel happily obligated to pay for this?
Unknown Speaker 2:58
My brothers things my family. eyeglasses, yeah. Cuz it's family. Yeah. We'll go to Starbucks.
Unknown Speaker 3:20
Is there something that Starbucks does outside of just being you know, Starbucks, that makes you feel heavily obligated?
Unknown Speaker 3:27
Now I could go in and order my chai latte with extra pumps and blah, blah, blah, and have cap D cap off the cap? You know, I'm talking about Yeah, sorry.
Unknown Speaker 3:41
So they create an experience for you at Starbucks, and they have a really good product. And they have a great variety. They have a great selection of Starbucks, because if I were to anyone can come in and have all kinds of encasing, you could create whatever you need to do, what are you doing to make it so that people feel happily obligated to do business with you. One thing that I like to do is I like to give out lots of extra stuff, like my little notebooks here that I give you guys, my little pens, I give out meditations I give out I have two books that are about to be releasing, and I'll be giving those away, like crazy we are have a book called local market seeds, it's coming up, which basically just a guidebook for local business owners. And that's something that I'm going to use to create healthy obligations in my community, because I'm going to give it to literally everyone, I don't care what stage you're at in your business, this can help you. And guess what, when you get to the stage in your business, when you have no money to be able to invest in someone to help, who are you probably going to go to we're probably going to go to the person that wanted to help you before you have the money to and so that's creating happy obligations I already told you.
